How it works

Three small habits, one weekly issue.

No new app to live in. Capture without context-switching, triage in five-minute batches, and copy a finished issue into the newsletter tool you already use.

  1. 1

    Save without thinking

Click the toolbar button on any tab. Right-click any link. Save all open tabs at once. Saves are silent and instant.

  2. 2

    Triage in batches

Open the inbox once or twice a week. Skim, read, assign to the current issue, or discard. Keyboard-driven. Five minutes at a time.

  3. 3

    Copy and publish

Drag links into order. Tweak commentary. Copy renders the whole issue to your clipboard. Paste into Substack, Beehiiv, Ghost, or your editor of choice.

Is this for you

Made for one specific weekly habit.

Gleanr is

  • A pipeline tool from saved link to published issue.
  • A weekly batch workflow with explicit issues.
  • A keyboard-first triage surface.
  • A copy-and-paste handoff to your existing newsletter tool.

Gleanr isn't

  • A bookmarking app or read-later library.
  • A second brain or notes graph.
  • A writing or publishing platform.
  • A subscriber list or newsletter sender.
Inside Gleanr

Four moves, every week.

The product is small on purpose. The whole loop fits in one head.

Move 1 — Capture

Save without leaving the page.

Toolbar click saves the current tab. Right-click any link saves it without opening. Save all open tabs at once with one menu item. The extension is silent — no popups, no forms.

Move 2 — Triage

Read, decide, move on.

The inbox is paginated by attention, not algorithm. Open a link, skim the AI summary, write a one-line take, and assign or discard with a single keystroke. Items expire automatically if you can't decide.

Move 3 — Sequence

Drag the issue into shape.

Open the active issue. Drag links into the order you want readers to encounter them. Tweak commentary inline. Type labels group automatically by source.

Move 4 — Publish

Copy. Paste. Done.

Click Copy. Switch to Substack, Beehiiv, Ghost, or your editor of choice. Paste. Hit publish. Your next issue is already live in Gleanr.

One price. No free tier.

A small monthly subscription pays for the infra and keeps the tool focused on serious curators. Beta cohort gets fifty percent off forever.

I've run a weekly link roundup for years, cobbling together Pinboard, Pocket, twelve tabs, and a half-dozen Notion drafts. Gleanr is the tool I wanted to exist — five hours of curating turned into ninety focused minutes. If that sounds like your week too, I'd love to have you in the beta.
